Safety First
28th April 2016 will be observed as the 3rd Steel Safety Day launched by World Steel Association.
Aligned with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work held by the International Labour Organisation on 28 April, Steel Safety Day was set up in 2014 to create a safer working environment across the entire steel industry worldwide. The day reinforces awareness about the five most common causes of safety incidents – moving machinery, falling from height, falling objects, gas & asphyxiation, and moving cranes to encourage safe practices. We are honoured to be part of an industry that brings safety and health to the forefront of business decisions and processes.
